A lot of people are asking how tattoos would work on fur so I'm just gonna go with the idea that in the horse world, they use branding/any variation of that (freeze branding prolly)
*Prism is napping on a cloud one fine day when a happy Cotton Candy appears, humming a merry tune. She sees one of her best friends and calls up to him*
Candy: "Hey, Prism!"
Prism: (snores)
Candy: (a little louder) "Prism~"
Prism continues to snooze
Candy: "PRISM BOLT!"
Prism is still sleeping
Candy, getting annoyed, huffs and puffs but she sees his tail dangling from the puffy pillow. So, she bends down, wiggles her rear, and jumps, clamping onto his tail!
Prism: (shocks awake) "OW! WHAT THE -" (looks down, sees Candy with his tail in her mouth, pulling him and his cloud down) "WHAT THE HELL, CANDY?"
Candy: (spits out his tail when he's at almost eye level) "PTOOH! Sorry, but I got something really, really exciting to show you!"
Prism: (yawns) "Okay...what?"
Candy: (whips out her hoof, pointing) "BA-BAM! Check it out! I got a tattoo!"
Prism glances at the tattoo and becomes enchanted. The flower was beautiful and it had little flowers and vines connected to it and it was just TOO COOL!
But Prism chills his feelings and just says: "Damn, CC. You got a tat? That's hardcore."
