Starburst: You did great in training today Fletcher. As usual

Fletcher: Thank you, Princess. And thank you for watching me train. It's a shame that you're not able to come and do the exercises with us.

Starburst: It's alright I guess. I'm working on it. Anyways, where'd you learn how to be so good at........ everything?

Fletcher: Do you mean archery?

Starburst: Yeah. And all the other guard stuff 

Fletcher: Norhay, I suppose. There was a lot of open space for me to just run around and practice on my own

Starburst: That sounds pretty great

Fletcher: It was alright. but it got lonely. You're very lucky to go and train with your friends like Del and Prism. 

Starburst: Yeah. I guess so. So what made you wanna join the guard?

Fletcher: Well, I don't know if Prince Valiant Heart told you this, but when my family and I first moved to Canterlot, a robber came to our home. I thought about trying to defend my family but I got scared. Luckily, the Prince came and saved us. After seeing how he fought that robber off, I knew I wanted to learn how protect others like he did. 

Starburst: Wow, I had no idea. 

Fletcher: Mmhm. May I ask you the same question?

Starburst: Why I wanna be in the guard? Well, I grew up around guards being a princess and all. Plus my dad, uncle AND cousin are guards. Being just a princess never appealed to me. 

Fletcher: Trust me, you're more than a princess... Princess. 

Starburst: *chuckles* Thanks. And why do you call me that? I told you that you could just call me Starburst. Princess just sounds soooo... girly and "helpless"

Fletcher: I-I'm sorry. It's just that... um.... Well, no offense but I think you're looking at the word "princess" wrong. 

Starburst: Oh?

Fletcher: Y-yeah. I mean to me, princess carries a whole new level of meaning. Just look at Princess Luna and Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence and even your mother. They're not girly and helpless at all. To me, princess means strong...

Starburst: Mmhm

Fletcher: ..... caring....

Starburst: Y-yeah

Fletcher: ...... brave....

Starburst: *nods*

Fletcher: ...... responsible and....

Starburst: *blushes*

Fletcher: ....beautiful

Fletcher:  Ah! Forgive me, Princess! I-I got carried away. 

Starburst: *blushing intensifies*

Fletcher: Princess? Starburst?

Starburst: I-it's okay......
