Valiant: *turns back to his regular form* Hey Claire. Is Illusion here?

Claire: Nope. He's.......... I'm actually not sure...... Well, he's not here. What'd you need?

Valiant: Just needed some advice from him

Valiant: I guess it could be a good idea to get a mare's perspective on things

Claire: Exactly! So what's happening?

Valiant: Nothing

Claire: I can't help you if you're not gonna tell me anything

Valiant: Well, yeah but she doesn't really tell me anything

Claire: She does have a hard time communicating feelings as well....... WELL! Lucky for you, she has talked to me about....well... you

Valiant: Really??? What'd she say?

Claire: She said you're a great guy and she most certainly has feelings for you

Valiant: Then what's the problem?

Claire: She's scared, Lance. Haven't you noticed?

Valiant: I– no. What's she scared of?

Claire: Leaving home, the upper class, high society, judgmental mares. Those kinds of things

Valiant: What does that have to do with anything?

Claire: Well, knowing June, she's not just going to go into a meaningless relationship.  She's probably thinking ahead to marriage

Valiant: Wha–

Claire: Marrying you would mean that she'd have to leave everything she's worked for, her family and the only place she's every lived. That's tough, Val.

Valiant: I... didn't realize. So what do I do?

Claire: I personally would spend time with her here more often. Show that you genuinely care about her. Illusion makes it a point to come and visit me every week since he knows I work all the time. I can't tell you how much that means to me.

Valiant: But you go to Canterlot as well don't you?

Claire: I sure do. But your situation might be different since June doesn't really like "fancy" places. Try not to force it on her. Take things slow

Valiant: *sighs* Alright. I'll try my best. Thanks Claire.

Claire: No problem.

Valiant: So how are you and your prince of chaos?

Claire: Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful

Valiant: I heard you guys tried to do the do

Claire: *relieved sigh* As long as he didn't tell you the details

Valiant: Weeeeelll I kinda guessed. He had some nasty scars

Claire: *groans* I feel so bad. He wanted to make that night so romantic because he's leaving Equestria for a few months

Valiant: Oh, that's right........................... are you gonna try again?

Claire: There would probably be no Illusion to leave Equestria if we did. I'd rather just have a special day with him before he leaves.

Valiant: That works. No pressure that way

Claire: Yeeep

Valiant: Well, thanks for the advice Claire. I'm gonna go talk to June. See ya later

Claire: Bye! Make good choices!
